🍝 Million Dollar Italian Lasagna
🛒 Ingredients
For the Meat Sauce:

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 lb (450g) Italian sausage

1 small onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
Salt & black pepper to taste
For the Creamy “Million Dollar” Layer:

8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
-
1 cup ricotta cheese
-
½ cup sour cream
-
1 egg
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
For the Layers:
-
12 lasagna noodles (cooked & drained)
-
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
½ cup grated Parmesan (for topping)

Fresh parsley (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Meat Sauce

In a large skillet, cook ground beef and sausage until browned.

Drain excess grease.

Add onion and cook until soft.

Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.

Add marinara, crushed tomatoes, seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Simmer 15–20 minutes.
2️⃣ Prepare the Creamy Layer
In a bowl, mix:

Cream cheese

Ricotta
-
Sour cream
-
Egg
-
Parmesan
Blend until smooth and creamy.
3️⃣ Assemble the Lasagna
In a greased 9×13 baking dish:

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce

Add noodles
-
Spread half of the creamy mixture
-
Add meat sauce
-
Sprinkle mozzarella
Repeat layers.
Finish with noodles, remaining meat sauce, and lots of mozzarella + Parmesan on top.
4️⃣ Bake

Cover with foil.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.

Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Let rest 15–20 minutes before slicing.
