1 lb (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed

4–5 medium potatoes, cut into chunks

1 small onion, diced

2 tbsp butter or olive oil

1 ½ cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

Salt & black pepper to taste

1️⃣ Prep the Potatoes
Place potatoes in a large pot and add enough water to cover.
Bring to a boil and cook for about 8–10 minutes (just starting to soften).
2️⃣ Add Green Beans
Add green beans to the pot and cook another 8–10 minutes until tender but not mushy.
Drain and set aside.
3️⃣ Build Flavor
In the same pot or skillet:
