🦀 Famous Crab Bombs
Ingredients

1 lb imitation crab meat or real crab, finely chopped

4 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup green onions, finely chopped

½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp lemon juice
-
1 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 eggs, beaten

Oil for frying
Instructions

Mix the filling

In a bowl, combine crab, cream cheese, cheddar, green onions, Old Bay, Worcestershire, and lemon juice.

Mix until smooth and well combined.

Form balls

Take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll into a ball.

Repeat with remaining mixture.

Dip each ball in beaten egg, then roll in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.

Fry

Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy skillet to 350°F (175°C).

Fry crab balls 2–3 minutes until golden brown.

Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve hot with cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, or spicy aioli.
