🥧 Classic Homemade Pecan Pie

1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

1 cup light corn syrup

1 cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

4 tbsp butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp salt

1½–2 cups pecan halves
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Whisk corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

Stir in pecans, coating them well.

Pour filling into unbaked pie crust.

Bake 50–60 minutes, until center is set but slightly jiggles.

If crust browns too fast, loosely cover edges with foil.

Cool completely (this matters!) so the filling sets properly.
