🍫 Cheesecake Brownies
Makes: 9–12 squares
Ingredients
Brownie Layer

½ cup (115 g) butter, melted

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs
-
1 tsp vanilla extract

⅓ cup cocoa powder
-
½ cup all-purpose flour
-
¼ tsp salt
-
¼ tsp baking powder
Cheesecake Layer
-
225 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
-
¼ cup sugar
-
1 large egg
-
½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1️⃣ Prep

Heat oven to 175°C / 350°F

Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment.
2️⃣ Brownie Batter

Whisk butter + sugar until glossy.

Add eggs + vanilla.

Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, baking powder.

Spread ¾ of the batter into pan.
3️⃣ Cheesecake Layer

Beat cream cheese + sugar until smooth.

Mix in egg + vanilla.

Spread gently over brownie layer.
4️⃣ Swirl & Bake

Drop spoonfuls of remaining brownie batter on top.

Swirl lightly with a knife.

Bake 30–35 minutes, until center is just set.
👉 Slight jiggle = perfect fudgy texture.
Cooling (Important!)

Cool completely, then chill at least 1 hour before slicing.

Use a hot knife for clean cuts.
