🍇 Homemade Blackberry Cobbler
Ingredients
Blackberry filling

4 cups fresh (or frozen) blackberries

Âľ cup sugar

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp cornstarch

Pinch of salt
Cobbler topping

1 cup all-purpose flour
-
1 cup sugar
-
1½ tsp baking powder
-
ÂĽ tsp salt
-
1 cup milk
-
½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Make the filling:
In a bowl, toss blackberries with sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, cornstarch, and salt. Set aside. -
Prepare the pan:
Pour melted butter into a 9Ă—13 baking dish. -
Mix topping:
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until smooth. -
Assemble:
Pour batter over the melted butter (don’t stir!).
Spoon blackberry mixture evenly over the batter. -
Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
