🥔 Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients

5 lbs potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet), peeled & cubed

1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

½ cup butter, cut into pieces

1–1½ cups milk or heavy cream (warm)

1 tsp salt (or to taste)

½ tsp black pepper
Optional add-ins: garlic, cream cheese, sour cream, chives
Instructions

Load the crock pot
Add cubed potatoes and broth. Cover. -
Cook
Cook on HIGH for 3–4 hours or LOW for 6–7 hours, until potatoes are fork-tender. -
Drain (optional)
If there’s excess liquid, drain a little—but leave some for flavor. -
Mash
Add butter, salt, and pepper. Mash directly in the crock pot. -
Make creamy
Slowly stir in warm milk/cream until desired consistency. -
Keep warm
Cover and keep on WARM for up to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
