🍩 Cream Donuts (Bakery-Style)
Ingredients
Donut Dough

3½ cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup sugar

2¼ tsp active dry yeast

¾ cup warm milk (about 110°F / 43°C)

2 tbsp butter, melted

1 egg
-
½ tsp salt

Oil for frying
Cream Filling

1 cup heavy whipping cream

¼ cup powdered sugar
-
1 tsp vanilla extract

Topping

Instructions
1. Make the dough

Mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tbsp sugar. Let sit 5–10 min until foamy.

Add remaining sugar, melted butter, egg, salt, and flour.

Knead until soft and smooth (about 8 minutes).

Cover and let rise 1–1½ hours, until doubled.
2. Shape the donuts

Roll dough to about ½-inch thick.

Cut into rounds (no hole).

Place on parchment, cover, and rise 30 minutes.
3. Fry
-
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry donuts 1–2 minutes per side until golden.

Drain on paper towels and cool.
4. Make the cream
-
Whip cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.

Chill until ready to use.
5. Fill the donuts
-
Poke a hole in the side of each donut.

Pipe cream inside using a piping bag or zip-top bag.
6. Finish

Dust with powdered sugar or

Roll in sugar or
