Here’s a good ol’ classic roast 🥩🥔
Simple, comforting, and hard to beat.
🥩 Good Ole Pot Roast
Serves: 4–6
Time: ~3 hours (mostly hands-off)
Ingredients

3–4 lb chuck roast

1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
2 tbsp oil
-
1 onion, sliced
-
4 carrots, cut into chunks
-
3–4 potatoes, chunked
-
3 cups beef broth
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).

Season & sear
-
Season roast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Heat oil in a large oven-safe pot.

Sear roast on all sides until browned.

Build flavor
-
Add onion, carrots, and potatoes around the roast.

Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire.

Sprinkle thyme or rosemary on top.

Roast

Cover tightly and cook for 2½–3 hours, until fork-tender.

Rest & serve

Let rest 10 minutes.

Serve with the veggies and pan juices.
