🔥 Juicy Spicy Chicken Wings

1 kg (2–2.5 lb) chicken wings

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp chili powder (or more if you’re brave)

1 tbsp cornstarch (secret for crispiness)
Spicy Sauce

⅓ cup hot sauce (Frank’s, Louisiana, or similar)

2 tbsp melted butter
-
1 tbsp honey (balances the heat 🤌)

1 tsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp minced garlic
-
½–1 tsp cayenne pepper

Optional: splash of lemon juice or vinegar
Method (Oven – super reliable)

Dry the wings well (important). Toss with all dry seasonings + cornstarch.

Bake on a rack over a tray at 220°C / 425°F for 40–45 min, flipping halfway.

While baking, mix the sauce in a bowl.

Toss hot wings in sauce.

Optional but elite: put them back in the oven for 5–8 min to caramelize.
Air Fryer Option

200°C / 390°F for 18–22 min, shaking halfway

Sauce + quick blast again for 3–5 min
