Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients

8 oz elbow macaroni

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp flour
-
2 cups milk (warm)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

Optional: pinch of paprika or mustard powder
Instructions

Cook macaroni in salted water until just tender. Drain.

In a pot, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.

Slowly whisk in warm milk. Cook, stirring, until thickened.

Lower heat and stir in cheese until melted and smooth.

Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.

Add macaroni and stir to coat evenly. Serve warm.
