🍑 Classic Peach Cobbler
Ingredients
Peach filling

5–6 cups sliced peaches (fresh, frozen, or canned—drained)

Âľ cup sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp nutmeg (optional)

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tbsp cornstarch
Cobbler topping

1 cup all-purpose flour
-
1 cup sugar
-
1½ tsp baking powder

ÂĽ tsp salt

1 cup milk
-
½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare peaches
In a bowl, toss peaches with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. -
Melt butter
Pour melted butter into a 9Ă—13-inch baking dish. -
Make batter
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until smooth. -
Assemble
Pour batter over butter (do not stir).
Spoon peaches evenly over batter. -
Bake
Bake 45–50 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly. -
Cool slightly
Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
