Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak
Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or half beef/half pork)

½ cup breadcrumbs

1 egg

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt & pepper, to taste

1 cup beef broth

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp ketchup (optional, for sweetness)

2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for gravy)
Instructions

In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, half of the chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Shape into 4–6 oval patties.

Place patties in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the remaining onions on top.

Mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup; pour over patties.

Cover and cook 4–6 hours on low or 2–3 hours on high.

About 15 minutes before serving, remove patties and stir in cornstarch slurry to thicken the gravy. Return patties to coat.
