Slow Cooker Salisbury Steaks
Ingredients
Patties

1½ lbs ground beef (80/20 is perfect)

½ cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers)

1 egg
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
Salt & black pepper
Gravy
-
1 packet onion soup mix
-
1 cup beef broth
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tbsp ketchup
-
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
-
1 large onion, sliced
Thickener (optional)

2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
Instructions

Make patties: Mix all patty ingredients gently. Form 4–6 oval patties.

Brown (recommended): Sear patties in a skillet 2–3 min per side for flavor.

Layer: Add onions + mushrooms to slow cooker. Place patties on top.

Mix gravy: Whisk soup mix, broth, Worcestershire, and ketchup. Pour over.

Cook:

Low: 6–7 hours

High: 3–4 hours

Thicken (optional): Stir in cornstarch slurry, cook 15 more minutes.
Easy Variations

No mushrooms: Skip ’em (still great)

Creamy: Stir in ¼ cup sour cream at the end

Extra beefy: Add a splash of soy sauce
